This is an absolutely gorgeous beach with limited parking. Parking permits are issued on a first come first serve basis. If parking is full, the alternative is nearby at Mau'umae Beach. Please note that Mauna Kea Resort is under renovation is not recommended at this time.
This little local beach is tucked away inside the Mauna Kea resort property. It's a little bit of a hike in, but the privacy and beauty are worth it.

The big bay at Waikaloa near the Marriott and LavaLava Beach Club. Can be crowded.

Hapuna is one of the most beautiful and highest rated beaches in the world.
Located at the 69 mile marker near Hapuna in Puako. Since the road and parking lot were upgraded it is often busy but still extraordinary.
With breathtaking 180 degree ocean views and numerous swaying palm trees, this perfect Big Island beach location has both a white sandy beach and a grassy area. This is also one of the best locations we can recommend for those looking for a great deal of privacy for a morning or sunset ceremony.
Shallow water at the beach, Kamehameha's Heiau in the background. Great for families with small children. Very local and historic.
The max amount of participants in a wedding or vow renewal ceremony at Hawaii's public beaches is limited to 30 people maximum including all vendors (except at Kikaua Beach Park where the maximum is 20 people).
